Prior to opening my private practice in 2006, I worked in the social service sector with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with family conflict, violence, trauma, and addiction.  This work taught me about the capacity of the human spirit to strive for wholeness, resilience and wellness, and equally about the power of connection in healing.

I have a BA from McGill University, and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from The Adler School of Professional Psychology (Chicago).  I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (R.C.C.) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and am dedicated to ongoing training / professional development. I love learning and I have training in EMDR, Lifespan Integration Therapy, Body Focusing, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, to name a few. My "Philosophy" page will tell you more about the therapy approaches I can offer you.

After I obtained my Masters in Counselling Psychology in 2005, I was fortunate enough to work in several community agencies as a Family Therapist, an Addictions Therapist (both adolescent and adult), a Child Trauma Therapist, and an Employee and Family Assistance Program Clinician (EFAP).  For the past 17 years I have had a private practice. While my experience includes group counselling facilitation and presenting on a variety of issues to groups, my passion lies in the therapy room, working with clients to help them resolve issues, get unstuck from repeated patterns, connect better with themselves and others, and in helping them reach their personal goals and potentials.

I grew up in Montreal and have had the privilege of living in other places before settling in Vancouver, BC, for the past 27 years. I speak Italian and French and enjoy working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, lifestyles, cultures. I embrace and celebrate diversity.

Some of the activities I enjoy in my leisure time are: reading, hiking, music, yoga, and kayaking.  I can often be found walking along the ocean or in the forest with my favourite people, including my spouse of 33 years.
